End of Chapter Five!! My longest chapter, and even then I had to split it in half. Originally, Chapter 6 was going to be the second half of this chapter, but…yeah no, let’s take a break.
Speaking of breaks, there will be no new pages for the next three weeks while I reclaim more buffer, finish off commissions and continue to write the second half of Book One. Yup, we’re about at the halfway point for this book now, and it feels good to have this done! I used to spend years writing and rewriting these first few chapters, and now it feels so satisfying to get some closure from them. Now to see where Clara’s newfound freedom will take her…
